A public meeting of the Budget Committee for the City of Astoria, Clatsop County, State of Oregon, to discuss the proposed budget, including state revenue sharing, for the fiscal year July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018 will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. at the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1095 Duane Street.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation by the Budget Committee may take place.
This meeting will include a public hearing to receive comments from any person concerning the proposed budget and use of State shared revenues. A copy of the proposed budget may be inspected on or after 5:00 p.m., April 18, 2017, at the Finance Department, 1095 Duane Street, or on the City’s website at www.astoria.or.us.
